As a human service agency, with a focus on immigrants, the Polish American Association (PAA) values the diversity and unique sense of community that immigrant women show. However, these communities tend to be insular. Our vision is to connect women of diverse perspectives and backgrounds to learn from and with each other, to understand how different, and yet, similar, we are to each other.

Inspired by the women who came and told their stories at last years ONA talk, who opened up to complete strangers and found caring, love and acceptance through a simple meal and conversation, we have decided to celebrate the diversity and solidarity of immigrant women by hosting another ONA conversation on International Women’s Day.
