Chairman’s Brunch Successful Fundraising for PAA

On Sunday, April 26th, we held our Annual Brunch to raise awareness about PAA programs and services offered to our community. Governor Bruce Rauner was our guest speaker and took time to acknowledge the need to improve the support of non-profit work such as PAA, in his remarks. PAA raised more than $32,000.

Since 1922, the PAA has sought to develop and enhance the lives of our community. Although founded for the purpose of supporting Poles recently immigrated to the area, the organization has evolved to offer its programs to any individuals who come to our doors in need of these social services. We strive to expand our impact through outreach and advocacy on those issues we see need attention.

We want to thank each attendee and supporter of the event. Your contribution and attention to the funding needs of our organization allows us to advance our work in the community. Although a financial success, we know we could not have made it so without the generosity of some special friends. With that in mind, we wish to extend our heartfelt appreciation to:

Floral Wonders, centerpiece creations
AND Agency, design and printing services
VICTOR STUDIO, photography services
IVY Boutique Hotel, our host

Contributing to the vitality of our city, PAA is a place of help, hope, and empowerment for families and individuals alike, adjusting to a new life in the United States. Thank you for joining us at the brunch and showing us your support through your donations and volunteerism.
