Machine Operator, Chicago, IL

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Inspect / measure products during production runs using inspection tools
• Document inspection results and quantities inspected on Production Logs
• Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications
• Ensure all documents and records are complete and compliant to procedures
• Move product when needed
• Promote quality achievement and performance improvement across the organization.

• Visual inspection of parts for any defects, burrs and surface finishes
• Interpret inspection results to ensure no non-conformances are released

• Some overtime and/or Saturday shifts may be required as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience in inspection in a manufacturing environment is a plus but not required

• Ability to read blueprints ensuring that parts meet quality standards, but will train
• Good communication and organization skills
• Must be able to multitask
• Must be able to stand for long periods at a time
• Must have knowledge of basic Math skills
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
